At first, I got all excited that maybe I was seeing a development mule for a new hybrid power train. We have cables hanging from the hood that go into the cabin, a bunch of equipment in the back seat and the rear end is loaded down. Then I realized that I live in NC and virtually no automaker would test a vehicle here.
The rear seat looks interesting as well.
At this stop light, I was right next to the man driving. Decided to pick his brain. I asked what the cables were for. His answer? "I have a lot of equipment that requires constant power because I work for AT&T." That's interesting. Still, I feel they could have found a better solution to the power issue. Either way, not as cool as I was hoping but still an interesting road find.

Awh. I was hoping it was the power cord for the flux capacitor.
